The 30-year-old is out of contract in Paris in the summer and it was suggested that his club could look to sell him once the window opens to avoid losing him for nothing in six months’ time.
Spurs and Liverpool are long-term admirers of the Argentine and have been heavily linked with New Year approaches for the forward, while Barcelona are also interested.
But all three clubs might have to wait until the summer after Lavezzi’s agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, revealed his client is expecting to stay put for now.
Mazzoni told Radio CRC: “At the moment I see no real possibility, the player will not leave in January.
“PSG are doing very well in the Champions League and they want to go as far as possible, that could therefore hinder a Lavezzi departure in January. Next June, Lavezzi will quietly choose his team for next season.”
